We are knowledgeable in the many components of value that affect timberland prices. Before an appraisal is made, the property is researched to learn all the rights associated with the land. If there are timber deeds, hunting leases, cutting rights, or other contracts with a fixed termination, these values are included in the property’s true value.

All FM&C, Inc. appraisals are free of outside influence. We have no vested interest in the properties we appraise. All services are performed in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practice (USPAP). We also provide appraisals that are in compliance with Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (UASFLA), often referred to as “Yellow Book” Reports. These regulations are published annually by the Appraisal Standards Board of the Appraisal Institute and are recognized by state appraisal licensing agencies, banks, and federal, state, and local organizations. If requested, appraisals can be performed in compliance with the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (USFLA).
