Forest Managers & Consultants, Inc. and its predecessors have been in continuous operation in north Alabama since the early 1970s. We provide the highest level of professionalism and integrity in every assignment we accept. We customize our services to meet our client’s needs in appraisals, forest management, and real estate.
Our appraisals utilize accepted approaches and conform to all professional requirements. Forest Managers & Consultants, Inc. specializes in timberland and related investment properties. Using our knowledge of environmental issues and market behavior, we integrate the fields of appraisal theory and forestry practices to provide the best assessment of the client’s property.
Our land management services include appraisals and sales, management plans, site preparation, and tree planting. We use a timber inventory to develop timber management plans and make recommendations concerning harvest plans, regeneration, or various other types of timber stand improvements.
Beginning January 1, 2015, the real estate branch of Forest Managers & Consultants, Inc. merged with Mossy Oak Properties Inc.- Southeast Land & Wildlife, LLC. The new company includes owners Elton Coley, Cameron Isbell, and Nathan McCollum, a team of foresters, wildlife biologist, and appraisers, as well as agents Mark Palmer and Casey Newton. We are licensed real estate brokers in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee and provide services to buyers and sellers of timberland and recreational properties. We often work as a buyer’s broker to find a specific property for a client, list and sell property for owners, and offer extensive advertising and networking of our listings.
